BUT TODAY WE HAVE LOTS OF TREES WE CUT FRESH YESTERDAY, SO YOU CAN PICK ONE OUT AND BE ON YOUR WAY, IF THE SNOW IS NOT YOUR CUP OF TEA.
Surround yourself with the color, freshness and fragrance a freshly-cut Christmas tree can add to your home. Sorry, an artificial tree is simply not festive enough this year.
Nothing beats the fresh smell and color of a freshly cut Christmas tree, and you can't get a fresher one than one you cut yourself. Spend a little time wandering up and down the rows and rows of trees. Narrow your choices a bit. Make another round or two. It's all up to you to pick the perfect tree.
This year we have plenty of West Virginia Balsam Firs, Douglas Firs and Concolor Firs in popular heights. We also have lots of giant, Macy Department Store size Blue Spruce for those of you with hotel lobby sized living areas.
You can cut our own 6-7' tree starting at $35 for a Douglas Fir.
Or perhaps you would rather select a live balled and burlapped tree to decorate for the house at Christmas and plant outside later.
Families have been choosing and cutting their Christmas trees at Ridgefield Farm for a couple of generations now. It's a great family tradition that adds to the festive atmosphere of the holiday season.
So, grab one of our wagons and saws and head out to cut your own. You can come to cut your tree anytime we're open, but most people come beginning Thanksgiving Friday. We'll close December 22. If you don't have your tree by then, you'll just have to get it somewhere else.
We have lots of oddball and Charles Brown trees at dirt-cheap prices, too. Ask us to see them.
