In spite of losing a couple varieties to the late frosts this spring, Ridgefield Farm has plenty of apples to pick this year.
At Ridgefield Farm our apple trees are grafted on dwarf root stock and trained on trellises in rows, which makes apples easy to pick for visitors young and old, short and tall. Each year we even have folks picking from their wheelchairs.
Whether you are a returning customer or new to the experience, the fun of picking your own fresh apples is not to be missed.
Mid-August – Ginger Gold
Late August – Gala
Early September – Honey Crisp (not available for public picking)
